NORFOLK, VA -- The Compassion Advocacy Network, Inc.(CAN) is proud to announce that we have been awarded one of the PepsiCo Foundation's Community Impact Grants. The PepsiCo Foundation is the philanthropic arm of PepsiCo, Inc. (NASDAQ: PEP), one of the world's leading food and beverage companies. The program is part of the company's efforts to support local communities by providing resources for valuable programming, such as The CAN Help! Program to fight senior isolationism and hunger.
CAN is one of 100 public charities and organizations across the United States and Canada awarded the $10,000 Community Impact Grant. Through strategic partnerships, such as the Community Impact Grant, the PepsiCo Foundation aspires to provide lasting change by tackling the challenges of inequality through access to economic opportunity, clean water, and food security.
This grant, which is part of the PepsiCo Foundation's Community Impact Grants, will be used to conduct our Compassion On the Move Mobile Food Pantry. This program provides essential care, groceries, and support to isolated seniors living in poverty. With contributions from companies like PepsiCo over the past 21 years, we have created life-changing moments for the seniors we served. This grant will allow us to expand our reach and provide even more seniors with the support they need.
The Community Impact Grants are designed to make a direct and immediate impact on our community.
